1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your actions and preferences over time. Astrix AI uses cookies only for the essential functioning of the service and, where you consent, for basic analytics that help us improve.

2. Types of cookies we use

We group the cookies and similar technologies we rely on into three categories:

• Essential cookies — required for core functionality such as keeping you signed in, protecting your account, and remembering your cookie consent choice. These cannot be turned off.
• Preference cookies — remember choices you make (such as sidebar state or theme) so we can present the app the way you prefer on your next visit.
• Analytics cookies — used only when you accept them. They give us anonymized, aggregate insight into which pages are visited and where users drop off, so we can improve the product. We never use them to sell your data or build an advertising profile.

3. The consent banner

On your first visit you see a cookie banner at the bottom of the screen. Choosing Accept enables analytics cookies; choosing Decline disables them. Your choice is stored locally on your device and applies across the site. Essential cookies remain active regardless of your choice because the service cannot function without them.

4. Third-party cookies

We do not embed advertising trackers. The only third-party services that may set cookies are:

• Google — when you use Sign in with Google, Google may set a session cookie as part of its authentication flow. We do not control these cookies; Google's privacy policy applies.
• Our hosting platform (Base44) — for application delivery and session management.

Payment providers (Dodo Payments, Stripe, Razorpay) operate on their own hosted checkout pages; any cookies they set are governed by their respective policies, not ours.

5. How long cookies stay

Essential and session cookies expire when you close your browser or log out. Your cookie consent choice and UI preferences are stored in your browser's local storage and persist until you clear them. We do not set long-lived tracking cookies.

6. Managing and deleting cookies

You can review or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or clear cookies on exit. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the app.
